A computer scientist by training, Darren works and teaches computer architecture by day and dabbles in his favorite pass time–writing–by night. He completed his debut novel Blinded by the Light while waiting for project funding approval from his company’s interminable bureaucracy. His second novel The Huron’s Bend is an ode to the time he spent as a graduate student in Ann Arbor, a college town that will always have a special place in his heart.
Dr. Kent lives with his family in the foothills of Santa Cruz mountains on the fringe of Silicon Valley.
